Journey On

Lina entered route one with a half smile on her face. This was it, the start of her journey, the start of an era. The girl had only made it a couple steps when she came face to face with a wild ___________.

Poochyena level 3

With a grin Lina sent out her Mudkip and called, "Maddie, use tackle!"

The poochyena was hit and used growl

[I'll take over, Dora, so step aside 8)]

The Poocheyna got hit, and roared, a walk one, with no effect. The roar was however, loud enough to get attention of 2 other Poocheyna. One Poocheyna was level 5 and the other one was level 4. The 2 other Poocheyna rose to their comrade's defense. The weakened Poocheyna got up and gave a weak roar. The two other Poocheyna leapt at Mudkip, with Tackle!

Lina narrowed her eyes as to other Poochyena came, it seemed they where a pack. Thats playing dirty, dogs. She knew she was outnumbered, that much was obvious. However, she was not about to let herself loose to a small pack of dogs. She did not say anything at first, instead watching Maddie dodge one attack and get hit by the other. While she took damage it was not to bad, the Mudkip would obviously be able to keep fighting. With a small smirk Lina called, "Maddie, use growl then tackle on the strongest Poochyena, leave the weaker ones for last!"

Poocheyna (3) got hit and it was unable to attack as it flinched! Poocheyna (2) and Poocheyna (1) Roared and slowly stepped back, unable to move as well.

Linan commanded Maddie to attack Poochyena three again, it was best to defeat it first.

Poocheyna three was hit again, and put to the ground, it fainted! The other two Poocheyna growled, finding this as a disrespect. "Poocheynaaa!!" They yelled and arose with two tackles!

Maddie dodged the attacks and tackled Poochyena two.

Poocheyna two growled, and as a gentle breeze flew by, it carried several Pidgey, gliding down. The birds blinded Poocheyna two, "Poo!!" it yelled and yelled. By the time the 'wind of birds' calmed down, Poocheyna one was scared, and it flinched! Poocheyna two on the other hand, was much more unlucky, Maddie hit it and it fainted! Poocheyna one yelped and backed away, then it ran away as fast as its feet could run!

Lina grinned, oh yeah, her Pokemon ruled. The blonde picked up Maddie before beginning to walk again. She couldn't handle but find it serene, the route she was currently walking down. The sun was shining, the birds where singing... It was almost unrealistic. Every now and then she would find herself glancing around, making sure her guard didn't lower because of the serenity due to some nagging thought that something bad had to happen. After all, this was life, life was dark. With a sigh the thirteen year old began to glance around, looking for a Pokemon to catch.

A wild Zigzagoon ♂ was feeding on some grass on the ground. The happy Zigzagoon did not notice the mean, evil trainer who just took out 2 Poocheyna. Zigzagoon sang in it's own language, merrily until he spotted the evil, merciless trainer above him. "Zig!!" Zigzagoon yelled in fright, "Zag!!" He began almost crying, "Goon!!" He burst out crying.

Lina scowled at the Zigzagoon before walking past it. She had no time for crybabies nor did she need any on her team. No, she needed something brave, something assertive. As she walked the girl scanned the area for a Pokemon matching that description.
