Escape!

The headphones Spencer was wearing suddenly made a loud clanging noise. He tore open his eyes and wrenched himself into a sitting position. He glanced over at the clock on his wall. It was 3:47 in the morning. With a sigh, he decided against falling back asleep, and stood up out of bed.

Today was a big day for Spencer. He'd planned everything out, and made all the preperations needed the night before. Now, all he needed to do was get out of his house without anyone seeing him, and his Pokemon adventure would begin.

The first step was making sure his Exeggcute didn't wake up. He felt like Eggs knew what was going on, but it was far too loud to leave out of it's ball for this morning. He grabbed Egg's pokeball off the shelf and quietly clicked it, pointing it at the corner where he was sleeping. It opened, and sucked the pokemon inside. Spencer breathed a sigh of relief.

The next part was simple. He dressed quickly, grabbed his pokegear, dex, and balls, as well as the two notes he'd written the night before. One was for his parents, a simple note stating his adventure had begun, and a warning not to come after him. The other was more intimate, for his sister, Arya. It explained his reasoning for leaving, and more importantly, his reason for secrecy.

He quietly stepped out of his room into the hal of their house. He slid Arya's note under her door like he used to when they were kids. He touched her door and mouthed the words "Love you, sis." In the night. He then stepped downstairs, put the other note on the kitchen table, and was outside in a matter of minutes.

The mission was a success. Now, all he needed to do was put as much distance between himself and Goldenrod City. And for him, that meant traveling to the Hoenn Region. And that meant finding a way to Olivine city.

At the north edge of the city, he stopped and pulled Eggs out of it's pokeball. His Exeggcute immidiatly began chattering loudly, annoyed at being woken up, but Spencer silenced it with a noise. "Hush up, man. We're on our way." Each of the eggs grinned at him, and together they stepped into route 35.

Spencer walked through the route with his hands in his pockets, his Exeggcute following close behind. He sighed. "Well, good thing I have the most talkative pokemon in the world." He thought to himself. "It'll keep me awake at least!" He never in his life had woken up so early, and he was feeling exhausted.

Barely paying attention, Spencer walked through a patch of grass to get to the gate to the National Park. Suddenly he heard a rustling sound! He turned in the darkness and was shocked to see a wild _____!!

Trapinch ♀ Lv 6! You are shocked to see a wild Trapinch in Kanto. The story was that a Flygon was attacked by a powerful pokemon, so it dug deep into the ground where it mated with a Drapion and bred several off springs. One surviving Trapinch dug its way to Jhotto where it arrived in a cave. It was carried by a goods train to Kanto where it bred with a Skorupi. Their Trapinch fled from them and hid in the ground in this area. "Traaa!!" Trapinch yelled and screamed and panicked, afraid that the trainer might harm it!
