The Adventure Begins

"Hm...there isn't much water around here...when we get to Cerulean, I can lend you my Good rod?" Reina suggested, as they were close to Cerulean anyway, passing the Daycare center now.

she stopped and looked towards the day care.. "you think maybe they'd have a water pokemon that needs a good owner?" she heads inside looking around for whoever might run the place.

"We can always check." Reina said, walking up to the building and opening the door.

She followed her inside, glancing around curiously seeing if the owners were around. She saw a few pokemon wondering around, a few of them glancing towards them and she would smile sweetly towards them "awe.. you guys look like your being well taken care of.. but where are the owners?" she asked glancing around.

A man running the Daycare spoke, "Their trainers left a little while ago." He said, "They should be back soon....however," He started, He picked up an egg near by that was a blueish color.
"This one was abandoned. Hasn't even hatched."

"ooh.. the poor thing" Chloe cooed towards the egg "are you looking for somebody to take care of it?" she asked, a sparkle in her eye. Eevee sniffed at the egg for a moment but then did nothing as Chloe gushed over the excitement.

The man smiled, "If you're willing to take care of it, it's all yours." He said.

"of course I am!" she said excitedly before taking the egg and cradling it as if it were a baby "look Eevee, we have a baby.. I hope it's a water pokemon, we can train it to beat Brock!" she said excitedly while her Eevee sniffed at the egg curiously.

Reina smiled, "Oh look, Cerulean City's coming into view!" She said, as they exited the Daycare to see the town not far away.

"that's great!" she said excitedly "I used to live just on the other side of it. We should probably stop at the pokecenter though to rest a bit and give our pokemon some rest too"

Reina nodded, "Yeah...we can rent a room at the Pokemon Center." She said, as they entered the city.
