Jake starts again!

Jake walks into Pallet Town and his two poochyenas and his mareep following him. Mareep get's a little frightened at the towns people looking at it. "Don't be afraid mareep" he said.

The townspeople couldn't help but stare at the pink and blue sheep. It wasn't like normal mareep, and as one child pointed out even looked like cotton candy! Shiny Pokémon were rather rare, and not often seen after all. Finally someone approached the boy, another around his age in fact. He placed his hands on his hips, sizing him and his Pokémon up for a moment. "What's a wimp like you doing with a rare collectible like that?!" he demanded, sounding very cocky about his own abilities.

"It takes smart to catch something like this, and who are you exactly?" He looked at the person being cocky. His mareep kinda sat around watching the two poochyena playing around.

"Pfft, it has nothing to do with intelligence. You're just a lucky little newbie is all. Yeah? Well how about we have a battle. If you win, you can have my Gible. If I win, I get your Mareep," The trainer challenged, preparing a pokeball with an unnderving smirk on his face.

"Sorry, but I don't wanna risk away my mareep exspecialy to someone like you." He stroked mareep with the brush he pulled out of his pocket. His two poochyenas ran around playing and tried to get other peoples attention.

"You're a fool, kid. You had a chance at a shiny Bagon," the other tsked before walking away. Unfortunately, other than the one Jake only seemed to attract the attention of small children wanting to play with his Pokemon. Perhaps some one on one training with his Pokemon was a better idea.

"I'm better off with my mareep then nothing" He finished brushing mareep and called for his poochyena befor going to search for some pokemon to fight.

A small purple and white rat appeared from a nearby bush. It seemed to be scavenging for berries, and hadn't quite noticed Jake just yet.

Rattata, Male. Level 5.

Jake called for one of his poochyenas. "Alright use bite, poochyena." Poochyena ran at the rattata about to bite the rat.

Rattata wasn't expecting the attack, and felt the Poochyena's teeth sink in a bit. He cried out, then glared back at the black canine. He shook the Pooch off, jumping back to put some distance between them. In a flash, rattata seemed to disappear as he rushed at a blinding speed toward his foe. Rattata used Quick Attack!

Poochyena was hit, "poochyena, use bite while it's close." Poochyena quickly used bite.

Unfortunately, Rattata was prepared, and had followed through with the attack instead of stopping when the attack hit. Continuing running, it circled around, managing to narrowly dodge Poochyena's teeth before attacking again with a second Quick Attack!

"Open wide poochyena" Jake called out, poochyena opened his mouth up wide and got ready for when the rattata tackled the inside of his bite

Rattata aimed for Poochyena's side instead, hoping that the mouth opened wide would block the predatory view of the canid Pokemon.

Poochyena got hit and didn't like the rat keep dodging his attack, he chased it with a bite

The rat continued running in circles, planning it's next attack, though it tripped and got hit by the bite. It quickly jumped back up and began circling again, attempting another quick attack on the poochyena's side.

"Poochyena, Howl, then look for an opening to use bite" Poochyena used Howl, then watched Ratata for an opening

As the poochyena howled, the ratata knew that it was about to attack. It continued running, however, though it was surprised when the poochyena landed a good bite on it. It was stopped mid-run, and it fell from the force of the bite [you have ot add the ripping that occured cause it was running]. It layed on the ground. It was catch or kill.

Jake knew it was rather weak pokemon, so poochyena knocked it out with a bite. "Alright let's find a good enough pokemon, then go to the gym" he said

The ratata, now unconscious, was going to be no bother for the trainer or pokemon as they went on their search. The trees did a little rustling, as if something may or may not be in them. However, it is solely up to the trainer whether he will search or not. As the trees rustled, suddenly a noise can be heard from a nearby bush, and suddenly someone calling for something can be heard in the distance. Which one is better for the trainer, no one knows.

Jake decided to check the bush out, see what is in them.

Suddenly a poochyena jumped from the bush to tackle the trainer. It wasn't the most appropriate thing to do, but the poochyena accidentally thought it was her pray coming for her to eat. As soon as the female poochyena noticed that the trainer wasn't her prey, she jumped off of the trainer, and froze. She was afraid of how the trainer would react.

Poochyena, Lvl 8, Female

Jake knelt down "It's ok, you probably didn't know I was a pokemon" Jake reaches a hand out, to let her sniff his hand to see if he is trust worthy, which he is.

The poochyena sniffed at Jake's hand, but stepped back a little. It was a little sure that it could trust him, but she didn't want to give her trust away that easily. She beckoned for the trainer to provide a little more evidence on whether she could trust him or not.

Jake's Poochyena ran to the other Poochyena to greet her, Jake decided to let the other Poochyena out, which shyly walked to the other Poochyena
