Down a rout and through a Forrest.

Alia hardly wasted time getting out of her house, for now she was heading down rout 205. She hadn't heard about any contests yet, so she decided she might try her luck with the Gym in Eterna City. That was the grass one, right? No matter, as long as she had a fighting chance.

As she walked Hero rested on her head. The girl often left the pokemon outside of the pokeball, for she considered pokemon her friend. Only in extreme conditions did the girl return her Beautifly. As she walked down the path she watched several small pokemon run around, and one in particular she was almost tempted to catch was a Linoon.

Although she left it alone, for she also noticed the small zigzagoon pup following behind it. "What a shame." she said as she continued walking to the forrest edge. The large trees were a bit intimidating to the pink haired girl, though she continued in. "I wonder what we'll find in here." she said as Hero took off and sat in some branches past her. Curriousity filled the girl until she saw the pokemon eating a berry. "Haha okay, you must be hungry. I guess we can stop here to eat"

That said Alia sat down removing a bag which had 5 pokeballs, a couple extra clothes, and a blanket. She rolled out the blanket before asking her pokemon to knock some berries down for her. The Beautifly complied and let about 7 pecha berries from the pecha tree.

Others also fell, but only 7 landed on the blanket. The extra fallen berries would probably attract other wild pokemon, but for the moment Alia just wanted to eat, and so thats what she did as the bug type landed beside her on the blanket obviously pleased by the praise her trainer had given her.

It didn't take long for the berries to attract a Pokemon. The bushes by the blanket rustled, and the head of an Audino poppped out and sniffed the air. The rest of the body followed, and out emerged the whole Pokemon. She had several Oran and Sitrus Berries piled in her arms.

Noticing the trainer, the friendly Pokemon smiled and cautiously approached the blanket. Reaching down, she grabbed one of the Pecha Berries and added it to the pile. This Pokemon didn't have the slightest hostility, though a skilled trainer doesn't need to solely rely on battling to obtain Pokemon.

Audino looked at Hero, and offered an Oran berry.

(Audino, Female, Level 6)

Alia looked at the audino as it approached. "D'awwh" she giggled out as it took a berry ever so cautiously. "Well, aren't you adorable!" the girl exclaimed with a bit of a giggle. It was such a cute pokemon!

The pokemon seemed so nice, it even shared a berry with Hero, who was rather pleased and showed it with a happy "Beeeeuutifly!" This also pleased Alia. She hadn't thought such a nice pokemon would be hiding in such a scarey seeming place. Well, just goes to show looks can be deciving.

Alia looked at the pink thing as Hero enjoyed the mixture of berries it now had. With a quick smile the girl picked up another of the berries before her and gently tried to place it in the Audino's arms. "Here you go sweet heart!" she said happily before moving her hand to try and rub its pink head.

Audino smiled, pleased and heartened by the kindness of Alia. Doing a sort of Pokemon-like giggle, she set her bundle of berries onto the blanket, and sat with the trainer. Audino wasn't used to the strange environment of Sinnoh, but thought the trainer and Pokemon rather comforting. With an elated mood Audino happily sat with Alia and Hero.

"Dawh!" the girl exclaimed as the pokemon acted to adorably sweet. "You're so cute!" she said with a smile. She thought about it for a moment then smiled at the pokemon. "Do you want to eat with us?" she inquired happily. Perhaps she would be able to befriend this pokemon. It would be nice to have a natural healer to help her out.

If Hero ever got hurt Audino could help! Of course, the situation had to be handled delicately. She didn't want to scare the pokemon after all. With a quick smile she looked through the berries picking out one Oran, two Rawst, and one sitrus. "Is it okay if I use these?" the girl inquired with a grin.

"Dino," Audino said with a nod. She had too many berries for one, and sharing was in her nature. In fact, kindness in general was in her nature. It pained her to see any Pokemon or human hurt. She also felt an odd connection to Alia, and cherished the trainer's gentleness.

Picking up an Oran berry, Audino nibbled on it. Licking her lips, she took much bigger bites, and it was gone in seconds. Apparently, the berry was quite tasty. Appealed by the taste, she grabbed another and offered it to Hero, thinking that the Beautifly would want to try one as well.

Unbestknown to the group, a pair of hungry eyes watched from the forest's dark shadows. Riled by the strong scent of the berries, the figure watched and waited for a chance to strike...
