Here We Go

Korra woke up with a groan as sunlight hit her eyes. She rolled over, her eyes open just enough to see the alarm. She jumped up out of her bed with a sudden burst of energy.

"Todays the day" She said out loud to herself in disbelief. Today she could finally begin what she had waited her whole life for."Trick wake up"She said lightly shaking the Pokemon at the end of her bed. "Time to go"

After getting ready she went downstairs to meet her sister. Her sister gave her a hug and handed Korra her bag. She smiled and hugged her sister back. Her sister was about to give a long emotional speech but Korra stopped her and said " I'm going to go before you start crying" Korra said with a small chuckle.

Korra and Trick stepped outside and headed towards the end of town " Lets go find a new friend Trick" Korra said with a smile.

Not so far away from Korra's sight, there are three Pokémon of the same evolution line talking to each other. The two are in their first evolution stage and has a leaf on their heads while the other has yet to evolve. They are of the Seedot evolutionary line. Their discussion can be overheard. Of course, they don't speak human language.

"Seedot, dude. It's your time to train today. Let's go ahead and find you an opponent. We'll watch you fight but don't expect us to help you when you are about to faint. Might is power," said a Nuzleaf.

"Look, that girl looks like a Pokémon Trainer. What you say you go ahead and challenge her," the other one asked with a finger pointing towards Korra while looking at Seedot.

"Nice idea, Nuzzy. Seedot, be friendly," reminded the first Nuzleaf.

The Seedot saw Korra and Trick. He smiled at his friends and nodded an agreement to their idea. He runs towards Korra while his friends follow.

IC: Korra and Trick hadn't been walking out of town for even a minute before she saw a Seedot running at her. "Yes!" She whispered to herself. Seeing the challenge she looks down at Trick " Ready for your first battle?" She asked her companion as the Seedot approached.

The three stops running and is looking at Korra and Trick with friendly smiles. They are a few steps away from the duo; providing enough space for a battle. The two Nuzleaf are standing behind Seedot. The Nuzleaf to the right nudges Seedot. He answers with a nod.

"Um, good day Trainer. Um... uh... could I... No... Can... w-we fight? Only me. My friends are going to watch. Yes, even to the point where I would faint," the shy Seedot asked.

While he may not look like that dangerous, it's still best not to judge a book by its cover.

Korra smirked to herself, a Seedot should be easy for Trick's first battle. She wasn't a huge fan of hurting the little Pokemon but she knew to win she would have to.

"I'd love to battle" She said as her excited Lillipup jumped around ready to Battle.

"Lillipup, Tackle" She said to her friend on her side.

Korra watched as her small Pokemon obeyed her and sprinted at the Seedot.

Fast on his feet, Seedot jumps to his right and evades the attack. To be honest, his specialty is speed and precision but the downside is his low attack and defense.

"Hasty," said the Nuzleaf to Korra's left.

The determined Seedot eyes Trick as he prepare for his retaliation - Quick Attack. Soon, Seedot would charge at Trick at a fast speed to tackle him. A wild Seedot cannot learn this move at Level 5 so it is obviously an Egg Move.

Korra had adrenaline pumping through her veins, she knew the Seedot was going to be, but she didn't think he would be that fast. She searched her mind for any attack that would help Lillipup. "Leer" She called to Trick.

OOC: Was Trick hit?

OOC: Oh yeah sorry guess I forgot to mention it

Seedot leaps forward landing beside Trick but his other eye got caught in the Leer so he still got hit by it. He attempts a close-range Quick Attack. Not only is he fighting, he's also obviously trying out the ‘what if’s of moves.

Trick not being able to see the attack coming in time gets hit by the Quick Attack. Korra lets out a soft cry in worry but her companion soon gets up and tackles the Seedot. She could tell her Lillipup wasn't ready to loose and was now determined to defeat the wild Pokemon.

Seedot got hit. The battle has turned into a close combat. Seedot thought of a tactic but sadly, it won't work. He would use Bide and endure an attack for two turns but knowing himself, he would go down in the second attack thus, making the Bide useless. He decides to just use another Quick Attack.

Trick just hardly getting out of the way of the Seedot's quick attack. She could see that both of the Pokemon in front of her were getting weaker and neither of them would have one great attack to win it so she had to keep to Tackle. " Trick Tackle again!" She said as she looked over to Seedot's friends.

Seedot got hit again. That attack almost ended the battle. He did not have the energy to stand up. His back lay on the ground but he still has a teeny tiny energy left in him but he knows he's done for. Still, quitting in a fight is never an option. His body glows and shined - he used Harden.

His friends kept their word and they're just standing there watching the fight. They smiled at Korra when he looked at them. As if saying "it's alright."

Korra watched as her Lillipup hit the Seedot, and saw how he couldn't get up anymore, a small frown crossed her face. In the back of her mind she wanted to catch the Seedot so badly but didn't want to take it from its friends. She saw the Seedot's friends giving her the Okay and she knew it was time to end the battle.

"Trick, One last tackle" She told her Pokemon as it sprinted towards the Seedot.

Seedot had nothing to do but watch as his opponent delivers the final blow. With nobility and enjoyment with the battle, he smiled at Trick and winked at Korra before his body language said he's fainted. The Nuzleaves clapped and smiled at Korra. One picked up and carried Seedot with his arms and they congratulate her for the victory before leaving. A true friendship among the three is a pleasing sight.

Trick the Lillipup has earned 5 EXP and is 1 EXP away from leveling!

Trick ran back to Korra and ran around in glee. Korra picked up her Lillipup and squeezed him lightly. " We did it!" She said to her Pokemon. She looked over to the Nuzleafs and Seedot to thank them for the battle. They Began to leave with the Seedot and Korra began to frown slightly." Wait" She said and chased after them " Are you sure hes going to be okay?" She asked pointing to the Seedot.
