Training before the first gym.

Roxanne nodded to the Referee who announced
"This is a two-on-two battle between Roxanne the gym leader and Zelda the challenger with only the challenger being allowed to make substitutions. Now Battle Begin"
He knew of Zelda as when he entered the gym he was seen on camera and had his file brought up as, they do in every gym. Roxanne then beckoned
"Strike them down with Rock Throw Geodude"
Geodude clawing at the ground and bringing up rocks from the earth below before launching them at Zangoose.

"Fury Cutter, now" Zangoose avoided the rocks by an inch, he ran up to geodude and tried a full frontal fury cutter.

Roxanne reacted immediately,
"Levitate higher and dodge it then use Rock Tomb"
Geodude rising up to dodge the Fury Cutter attack before forming a large boulder bigger than himself, between his two hands and firing it off at Zangoose, the large boulder then splitting into multiple boulders as it surrounded Zangoose, the final boulder heading straight for Zangoose who was in the middle of it.

Zangoose endured the attack, but concealed himself a bit, stopping a bit of the damage. the then used another fury cutter.

Geodude in turn used Rock Throw once more to counter the Fury Cutter launching them at the attacking Zangoose then using another Rock Tomb attack behind the Rock Throw.

Zangoose evaded by running with Quick attack and jumping and attacked with Furry cutter once more

Geodude was stuck by the move as he hit the floor, rolling backwards though he was grabbing at the ground whilst he did to pick up rocks then, once he came to a stop he launched a Rock Throw attack on Zangoose.

Zangoose got a full hit, flying backwards, he landed, jumped, and jumping from rock to rock, trie another Furry Cutter

Geodude crossed his arms to block the attack then taking less damage than he normally would. He then unleashed another Rock Tomb attack on Zangoose at Roxanne's request.

Zangoose avoided and went on the defensive, he stayed close to Geodude, and at a place it was hard to throw rocks at.
