Gavin sat down on the small grass and pulled his Wooden Targets out of his bag. He looked at Eternia, who was gazing at all of the beautiful sights of trees and battling trainers. "Okay, Eternia. Let's begin!" Gavin called to Eternia as it turned around. Eternia happily ran towards Gavin and sat down in front of him. Gavin glanced at his Pokedex to see what he wanted to train first. "Okay, I want you to jump towards this Target and use Tackle." Gavin said as he stepped back a small amount, and Threw the Target up, but not too high. The Eevee was excited, and jumped towards the Target. Eternia didn't jump high enough, and the target fell onto the ground with a thump. Eternia landed on his feet and looked at Gavin.
"Don't worry, we'll get this. Okay, try it again!" Gavin said as he gave Eternia some time to re-position himself, and he threw the target up again. Eternia jumped high this time, and his paws landed smoothly on the target. Eternia then smashed the target onto the ground. "Very Nice, Eternia!" Gavin told the Eevee as he began to pet his head. The Eevee smiled with great joy as he re-positioned himself without being told to. Gavin grinned as he pulled out a Track from his backpack. "Alright, now, try to hit this Target while it is moving," Gavin said while he placed a clamp on the track, and clipped the Target onto the clamp. He then turned a knob that made it go as fast as an average Pokemon would go. "Alright, go!" Gavin told the Eevee as Eternia bolted towards the target. The Target moved out of the way just as Eevee was executing a flawless tackle. Eternia turned around and looked at Gavin again. "Don't stop, Eternia!" Gavin said encouragingly to the Eevee as it ran at the target again, this time hitting it in the back, before the target could turn around. The Target flopped over as 2 paws with massive force came down upon it.
"Wonderful, Eternia! Now, let's try the Return attack!" Gavin told the Eevee. "I wonder if our friendship is high enough." Gavin asked himself as he restarted the moving target. Eternia nodded as he darted at the target with all of his strength. He absolutely eliminated the target, hitting it so hard with his paws that the wooden target smashed in half. The Astonished Gavin looked on it as the Eevee walked back to its trainer, smiling while panting. "That was amazing, Eternia!" he said as he hugged his Pokemon. Eternia was very happy at this point. "Let's go home," Gavin said as he grabbed the Track, Clamp, and Broken Target, and placed it into his Training Backpack. He Returned Eternia into his Pokeball, and Walked back to the Pokemon Center at Eterna City. The Pokemon was Healed, and Gavin sent it back out. He then let the Eevee back into his house, and Gavin sat onto his recliner, seeing that the Eevee jumped onto his lap.
