After finally arriving in Hoenn, the two couldn't help but have yet another training session. It seemed as if they were getting addicted to training, oh well what can you do about a trainer determined to have his pokemon be the best? "Another training session, eh Pignite? One of these days we'll be famous, everyone will know the names Ryuji and his partner Pignite, or should I say soon to be Emboar. At the rate we're going, you'll evolve again real soon, and reach your true potential." The trainer said with confidence. They reached the training grounds and took their position. Ryuji standing on the edge with Pignite in the middle of this tree filled terrain. Trees covered the arena, their leafs green and full of life. "Its a pity those trees will be used as our targets today." Ryuji said. "Now, let's begin by working on our new combination move Pignite. Use Flame Charge!" The attack was given, Pignite complied as he started stomping on the ground, creating dust clouds around him. His body was engulfed in flames, he then lifted his arm to his side and charged at a tree in front of him. The enhanced force of the arm thrust, which was due to the momentum gained from the increase in speed of the Flame Charge, snapped the tree in half. While the fire helped too, Pignite scorched his way through that tree. "Good work, now use Sunny Day." Pignite then enhanced all his fire type moves as he used Sunny Day. The sun started shining brighter. "Now, use Flame Thrower continuously into the air." Ryuji gave the next move Pignite should use. "Pig." The fire pig pokemon said as he nodded, showing his confidence in the move that was about to be used. They learned it yesterday after their gym battle with Cress, and this was the first time it would be used with Sunny Day in affect, so the results would be interesting to see for the first time. Pignite then turned his attention to the sky, taking a deep breath he focused his fire type energy. He then exhaled a massive blast of continuous fire from his mouth. It was amazing, the orange colored destruction which came from Pignite. Ryuji's eyes widened from surprise, the fire shining off his eyeballs in the process as he couldn't move his eyes elsewhere. "Amazing.." Ryuji said, still not taking his eyes off the fire. Pignite then stopped blowing out the Flamethrower. "Now let's work on a new combination. Let's call it Smogout. You use Smog, but keep your attention on the opponent's position. Then use Rollout as the area is covered in smoke. A surprise attack." Ryuji explained. Pignite nodded, he then blew out black smoke from his snout, covering the area. Jumping into the air and forming a ball shape, Pignite started spinning towards a tree which he focused on before using Smog. He hit the tree and continuously rolled against it as he used Rollout, eventually breaking the tree in half as well. Tree bark laid everywhere, and the smoke was starting to clear. "I think that's enough for today Pignite. Let's head over to the hotel and get some rest. Tomorrow we're going to go upgrade my pokedex to have all the pokemon from the Hoenn region in it. Then, we'll take on this city's gym too! We'll show them the power of Ryuji and Pignite." Ryuji said to his partner. "Nite!" Pignite replied with confidence. They then headed over to the hotel to get some well deserved rest.

"Lift those rock's up with Confusion Slowpoke," Hana shouted, commanding the rather dim looking yet powerful pink bear like pokemon, This duel type pokemon would release a rather powerful wave of psy based energy that rocked from the eyes in a beam like creation, This beam would strike the rather large rock at an angle from below forcing the kinetic and psy based energy to force the stone within the air, Keeping his gaze upon said rock's bottom to strike it further upwards showing that the young pink pokemons special attack was somewhat to be impressed by. "Good Work Slowpoke, Now strike that rock further into the air with a powerful Water gun" Shouted Hana, giving the attack command to her adorable little pokemon.

With the attack command uttered, the mini pink bear pokemon would release from its now gaping maw, a powerful jet of highly propelled water at the now descending rock. His eyes having returned to the original color for a slowpoke after the use of the Confusion. The water spraying from his mouth would easily reach the rock and with some serious power would propel directly through said rock, Slicing through the large boulder as if it were butter. Not what Hana had actually wanted but the power behind the simple attack was magnificent. Something she had not expected to come from the small pokemon. Now the rock was in pieces Hana would have to come to think of another method. As a pokemon trainer instinct would kick in and soon she would be commanding the pink pokemon to do her biding once more. "OK Slowpoke, Ice Beam"

Ordering yet another different typed attack was a great strategy for a trainer, With the gaping maw now closed and the stones covered from the highly pressurized water that severed it into smaller sized pieces meant that the now chilling beam of white energy that resembled ice due to the cold frost that followed said beam would strike the rocks. All three would soon be covered in a thick ice seemingly impenetrable as the hard fall to the ground would prove, not even a scratch. "Ok now Slowpoke, Seperate them, Tackle the right and left ones" Hana ordered. To be honest Hana rarely used proper body contact moves with Slowpoke due to the speed of her pink bear pokemon. Being slow meant easily avoiding it.

Though she did so, The male pink bear would take strides as quick as he could, Yet it resembled a slow caterpie. Upon finally after some time gaining the distance and momentum the pink bear would collide its own body with that of the right rock first pushign it a fair distance off from the center block of Ice while the same would happen upon the opposite side so that each would be safe from the blast zone, To be quick Hana would return her Slowpoke before releasing him right in front of her. "Ok, SLOWPOKE LETS TRY AND HIT EM WITH A FLAMETHROWER" she shouted with triumph, Yes you heard right, her pokemon advanced in skill could utilize flamethrower a water type using fire. Showing her true potential right there. it seemed to utilize a lot of moves with a gaping mouth, But once more the pink pokemon woudl open releasing a different element. This time waves of flame in a powerful blast erupted from his mouth and struck the block of ice covering the left rock. The heat easily melting said rock and fully incinerating the rock within until nothing but ash remained.

"Ok, good job, Now lets try a dig attack on the right one" she shouted fist pumping the air as her small yet obviously powerful pokemon began to demonstrate yet another elemental based move, This time ground. As its body with speed superior to the tackle vanished within a newly created hole that seemed to go on for ever, it would traverse the landsscape seemingly able to detect the cold rock, With such force speed and precision it owuld collide with the right rock covered in ice and completely shatter the entire thing. Returning the same way as before Hana would now have a single rock left.

"Ok Slowpoke, one left...lets finish this how we started FULL POWER CONFUSION" She yelled. Her eyes lightning with the passion for battling. As she yelled her smaller pokemon would glow with pure psy energy, The hair upon its body lifted on ends giving a scary looking appearance for a dim witted pokemon, The eyes erupted with a shining blue power that upon colliding with the rock not only destroyed the crumbling thing to nothing but also took out all the grass within the straight line vision of the pink pokemon, That is how you prove ones power. Shocked by the potential of such a pokemon Hana could not reists picking up her now tired pokemon and giving him the biggest hug in the world. "I love you" she said.

Carrying the pokemon to the center Hana would of course upon arrival have her entire team checked and healed. Smiling as she received them back Hana would head towards the hotel she had booked upon deciding she was staying, Her eyes were shocked to find yet another Unova pokemon had appeared heading towards her own destination, a Pignite the evolved form of OH GOD NO NOT TEPIG...she studied the trainer...nope that was fine it wasnt that same doof who had been an arrogant ass wipe to her before but a completely different person. Thank god it was Slowpoke within her arms and not Politoad though. It seemed they reached the hotel at the same time as each other, So as a trainer thing to do Hana would give a soft bow. "Hiya...My names Hana and this here is Slowpoke, your from the Unova region right?" she said quizzing. Naturally this was a guess based upon the Pignite, This could be wrong for anyone looking at Hana would think perhaps Kanto due to the Slowpoke within her hands though she was sure Tepig were only originated within the Unova region. Holding on to a rather strange egg within an incubator, hana had woken up earlier today with this sitting at her side a note saying..Happy Easter.

Once Ryuji had gotten some rest, he woke up with Pignite staring endlessly at something next to Ryuji's bed. "What is it boy?" He asked all confused like, he hen shifted over and leaned over the edge of the bed where Pignite sat. It was a strange egg! With a note, written in pink stating ""Happy Easter!". Ryuji might as well take the egg, after all it was a free pokemon, so he took Pignite out for some air as well as the egg which he held in his arms. After a few hours of enjoying the day, the two returned to the hotel.
A young girl, judging from her looks, about the same age as Ryuji had entered the hotel at the same time as Ryuji. She carried a Slowpoke in her arms, Ryuji had never seen a Slowpoke before which intrigued him. At first he thought it was a pokemon of this region, though he couldn't be sure since his Pokedex still needed the Hoenn update, so he walked towards her to find out. She politely greeted him with a bow and gave her name as well as the unknown pokemon, Slowpoke. "Hey, my name's Ryuji. And yes, I'm from Unova. I take it you know that from my Pignite?" The 16 year old red headed trainer said to his new acquaintance, Hana. Ryuji noticed a strange thing about Hana, she was carrying the same sort of egg as himself, who was it that handed out these pokemon eggs like it was nothing? He wondered to himself.

The young blue headed female would not softly, "I was in the Unova region recently, In fact i just escaped a rather annoying boy who clearly had no talent as a trainer with a Pignite, He attacked me when my back was turned then when a challenge was given he ran, Then attacked me again and repeated the motion. I got away from him though thank god, If you see him run...he's most likely weak but his annoyance gets massive. But i can tell your Pgnite is amazingly trained. Its beautiful in appearance and physique.....Though i think my pokemon can take it " She said with a cheeky wink. Pulling on her left labret she would reveal the Trio badge. "I got this when i was in Unova, I beat one of the gym leaders in the trio gym. The rules there are kinda freaky when it comes to how they run a gym....but they were nicer than Roxanne the gym leader here" she would say laughing..."So as a trainer its my duty to ask...how about a battle" she said smiling.

Ryuji smiled of pride when he heard her say how well Pignite seems to be trained, and no not a gay boy smile, more of a bad boy smile, his facing saying "you bet yer ass he's trained well" with that smile. "Unfortunately I'll have to decline your offer, I'm just here for a gym battle with Roxanne. It seems we agree on the Striaton Gym leaders, I beat Cress yesterday." Ryuji said as he showed her his Trio Badge as well. Usually he would accept the battle request and show her that he'd beat her, but he was so intent on getting that Stone Badge. "Though its sweet that you think you can beat me." He said jokingly. "Why don't you come and watch my gym battle? Then we can have our battle afterwards if you still feel like you can beat him after watching him in action." The teenager said to his newly found acquaintance.

"Hahahaha, Ah so your going to take on Roxanne, Well she's a rock user, She has strategy so watch out for her, Though i found her to be kinda snooty and a little reluctant to admit when a trainer is better than her, OH you beat Cress i think i beat Cilan i think thats his name, I also just beat Roxanne yesterday.....as for coming to watch id be honoured but i think ill also have to rain check, Roxanne and i don't really see eye to eye..but perhaps when i get back from LittleRoot, I have to have my Pokedex updated to this region so that i can gain information on the water pokemon here." she would say smiling, As she did the slowpoke would yawn softly before nudging into her bag and re-emerging with her kings rock. Slowpoke had been desperate to evolve ever since they had beaten Roxanne. But without a shellder location it was kind of impossible.

"Well then it must be destiny, I also have to upgrade my Pokedex for this region. You might as well come watch me and then we can travel to Littleroot together. I'm not surprised by your victory over Cilan, I can see your Slowpoke is quite eager to become even stronger." Ryuji spoke to the girl. "Pignite and I train hard almost everyday, he'll probably evolve into Emboar soon. Then no gym leader will stand in our way. I've proven that yesterday when Pignite beat the poor water type by using fire type moves. He's something special for sure, I don't know where I'd be without him..." A sincere smile grew on his face as he looked at Pignite and spoke so highly of him. Ryuji really did care about his partner, more than anything in the world. "You know what, I'll catch up to you in Littleroot after I beat Roxanne. I'm looking to use my newest pokemon, Totodile, against her." He said to Hana as he removed a pokeball and released his Totodile. "Toto.. Dile!" It said as it saw new faces, Hana and her Slowpoke. Ryuji was planning on having it evolve either during the match, or soon after. So he'd have a surprise for Hana when they meet again in Littleroot

"Hahaha, Don't get cocky though Ryuji, Not all water pokemon trainers are forced to use basic pokemon to battle a trainer, You see like Cress i am also a trainer who specializes in the water element. Though im a bit more advanced than both Roxanne and Cilan. so i guess right now we have the same credentials water vs grass water won and fire vs water fire won" she said smiling, The Slowpoke would be placed on the floor with the kings rock still upon his head as Hana smiled at the Pignite, Water pokemon were her loves she adored them all but she could see the effort and training that went in to the proud pignite. When the male spoke of Totodile Hana's eyes lit up as the crocodile was released from its pokeball.. Giving the most girlish scream she could muster she would coo and awe around the blue pokemon.

Her face beamed with envy and was slightly red with embarrassement as she coughed standing up straight. "That is the most adorable Totodile i ever did see.....Would you mind trading it to me for my Slowpoke.....not for keeps but just to register it, It would also mean Slowpoke would have the ability to evolve." Hana said, Though she was unsure of this for she was positive the biological way of evolving Slowpoke was through a shelldar bite to the head or tail. "I would of course send Totodile straight back, I hatched Slowpoke from an egg you see, He's my baby," She said bending down and cuddling the pink bear pokemon.

"What do you say Totodile, should we help Hana out?" Ryuji asked, wanting to make sure Totodile is alright with it. "Dile dile!" It said with a smile, it was clear all that crazy cuddling made Totodile like Hana. "Ok, we'll do it. But.. You'll owe me one, eh?" Ryuji said. He then got his Pokedex out, and as soon as Hana was ready he'd have them trade the two pokemon. The two pokemon would be back in their pokeballs and turned to data, which was transferred to the other's Pokedex. "There you have it, now let's trade back." The two pokemon would then be traded back as soon as Hana was ready, and Totodile was safe and sound with Ryuji again. It was strange, Ryuji actually asked what the pokemon wanted, that's never happened to any other pokemon than Pignite. Maybe he was starting to care for Totodile more than he expected to, if he even expected to care for him. "We're all done, you can show me your evolved Slowpoke at Littleroot once we meet up there again. I'm going to head to the gym and start my march to victory of becoming the Hoenn Champion! See you soon, Hana." Ryuji said with pride. He then headed towards the gym where he would fight Roxanne the rock type user. Totodile would surely do good against her.

Hana would appreciate the help, "Ok ill owe you one, Perhaps i can pay you back by showing you how a real trainer battles one day" Hana said winking cheekily as the trade was completed and then resent allowing her slowpoke to become hers once more. nodding softly she would laugh. "Ok doke Ryuji,. We shall meet again at little root and then we can see whose gonna be champion or well whose got the head start" she said laughing softly before turning. "I look forward to battling both your Totodile and your Pignite" she said as she also left heading to get her upgrade.
