Journey 'Round The World [Chapter 1, Part 1: Failure At Sea]

Cressila sighed in frustration and sat on the sand. She had been out on the beach all morning and still had not found any pokemon that interested her. Her two pokemon, Kangaskhan and Nidoqueen, stood beside her. "Ugh, why can't I find any cool looking pokemon" she complained, "Where have they all gone?". All morning the beach had been void of both people and pokemon alike although it was the middle of summer.

Cressila had come to the beach in hopes of finding a strong water type pokemon to add to her team. Although she was open minded, Cress had an idea about what pokemon she wanted and the pokemon was Wartortle. Of coarse getting it would take some training from a lower leveling up in order to get it to evolve in the Blastiose that Cress dreamed of having but first Cress would have to find one! Cressila sighed again before putting her head in her hands and starring out to sea.

Sailing through the water, Floating carefree upon the large blue ball like pokemon that was commononly known as Wailmer. It was her powerful water type pokemon. Like the other five pokemon she holds within her company. In fact all six of her pokemon were currently not within there pokeballs, Her long blue hair was trailign within the wind behind her. It had grown in the past few months and of course now it was trailing in two large bunches in the beautiful sparkling ocean. Jumping between these lines was a fish of gold and white. Diving over and under the long blue hair that seemed to meld within the water. This pokemon was known as a Goldeen. Sitting in between the legs of the female was a large green lillipad like leaf, though connected to that pad was a blue small body. This baby lotad was obviously just recently hatched.

A small pink like bear would be swimming extremely lazily yet with some speed, a rare combination next to the blue larger pokemon known as Quagsire whom would be doing the same as the pink bear. The final attribute known as the joy of her team was the frog like pokemon whom would push upwards from the water diving over the wailmer and the female and back repeating this motion. The speckles of water fell upon Hana as she giggled watching her pokemon each enjoy themselves. Poor Wailmer was her ferry back and forth yet it seemed to not mind for it too was laughing along. Clearly a water pokemon trainer and clearly a trainer whom is one with her pokemon. Finally reaching the shore Hana would have upon getting closer noticed the young girl whom was upon the beach of Dewford. As her and her pokemon all emerged from the sea and now played upon the sand minus goldeen whom prefered trying to show of wth flips and tricks. Hana on the other hand would wave to the female thus the only soul upon the beach. "HOWDY THERE, Could you tell me if this is Dewford" she shouted while continuing to wave.

Cressila turned and looked at the girl who seemed to be a top a large pokemon. With a gleeful smile Cressila replied with a simple "Yes". She joyfully leapt up and ran towards the girl to meet her, sand flying up with each and every step she took. Her two pokemon followed Cress but at a much slower pace. When she finally reached the point where the tide ended and the beach begin she stopped and began to wait for the girl to reach the shore. It was then that she really noticed just how beautiful the beach was at this time of year.

The beach looked absolutely gorgeous. With the sun high in the sky the waves seemed to just glow with warmth. The sand looked ass though it was a bright white blanket of newly fallen snow left untouched. The water,teal in colour, moved rhythmically in motions that made it seem as though the water was dancing. The sky had only one cloud in it the moved slowly across the vastness of the great blue sky. "What a beautiful day it is" Cressila said to herself as she continued to wait for the woman on the pokemon to arrive at the beach.

How she had missed them, the young female had completely washed over the two large pokemon who now followed the spry young female whom ran light footed down the beach. The yes sounded like a twinkling bell though this could simply be because Hana's ears had only heard the sound of the sea washing through them. As she landed upon the beach she would smile softly. "Any day upon the sea is a beautiful sea" she said smiling softly. Her eyes would wash over the two power house pokemon that she had failed to see. Clearly the sea had effected her eyes.

As her feet touched the softer non wet sand she would smile softly as she felt the warm soft ground beneath her, It would seem her pokemon also enjoyed the sand yet the lotad remained in her arms now dozing slightly. "So i guess these beauties are your pokemon, That would make you a pokemon trainer right? If so im here to challenge the gym leader, My name is Hana Ryder and i wish to challenge you" Hana said softly, her flare for battling begining to grow within her.

Cressila smiled at the girl s she heard her request. "Well, Hana Ryder, I accept your challenge" she replied with a smirk on her face. She started to walk away from the trainer. When she felt that she was a good enough distance away she called out to her pokemon. "Kangaskhan take to the battlefield, Nidoqueen you stand back and await your turn." Nidoqueen nodded a took a large bound backward. Kangaskhan however, trotted over to its position in front of Cressila on the battlefield. Now, Cressila would begin to stare blankly at her opponent, not only awaiting her choice of pokemon but also trying to gauge her opponents strength and strategy. The former would mostly likely be present in battle. However, discovering the opponents strategy would take time and time was often one of the things that caused Cressila to lose battles. So, Cressila stood there, waiting, deep in thought while Kangaskhan stomped the ground and let out a deafening roar.

"Awesome" she would say smiling softly. She would turn to look at her pokemon unsure on which of them she would utilize as her pokemon to battle. Standing facing them she would smile wider as her eyes touced upon her slowpoke. She nodded to all her pokemon who parted for the pink bear like creature. "Come on Slowpoke, your up" She would inform the pokemon. Slooooooooooooooowwwww The bear like pokemon would say as it yawned. Walking slowly plodding along until it came face to face with the much larger Kahngaskan. It looked like it may be an unfair battle but looks are obviously able to decieve. The beautiful bear pokemon was obviously well kept. Its fur was perfectly cleaned though still wet yet unlike most creatues with fur it did not actually seem to be bothered about the extra weight. "Ok Slowpoke you can do this, Remember we trained hard." she would shout towards her adorable pokemon. OPnce more Slowpoke would release a boring yawn of its own name looking dimly out staring at the larger pokemon. "You can go first" Hana shouted towards the other female.

Cressila nodded to show that she had heard Hana. Cressila then proceeded to close her eyes before calling out to her pokemon. "Kangaskhan use Fake Out" she commanded, her tone never changing and the blank look never leaving her face. Cressila almost seemed...bored one could say. The large pokemon nodded before it leaned down towards the small pink bear pokemon before clapping its hands together forcefully. The force of the clap was so great that a large shockwave of energy would form and fly out in all directions causing both sand a debris to fly in multi0pple directions. If done correctly, the move should send the opponent flying in the opposite direction while making them flinch aswell.

Slowpoke would indeed become a flying type pokemon, For his soft small body would flow backwards through the air after recieving the increased priority fake out attack, It would sadly also mean that Hana would be unable to fight back for the obvious appearance on the Slowpoke was that it was currently flinching. This would falter soon but right now it meant Hana's beginning movement would have to wait...for now.

Cressila only nodded in acknowledgement that the attack landed. "Now," she called out "use Crush Claw". After hearing the order the large pokemon jumped at the small pink bear, its claws glowing a bright blue color. As Kangaskhan neared the Slowpoke it lashed out with its claws at the bear pokemon.

Slowpoke would seem to be capable of movement, Its fliniching having halted. Now the Kangaskhan would be in trouble thought Hana. The young blue headed female had been at the lower end of this battle due to the increased priority of the Fake out which always caused flinching but now Hana knew exactly what to do. As the mighty and large pokemon executed its jump Hana would order her own pokemon to release a move. "Slowpoke, Lets go CONFUSION" She shouted, As her command left her mouth the young pokemon that resembled a beautiful pink bear whom would be staring at the large pokemon whom was currently in mid air. This would mean upon its eyes burning a bright blue that in turn would eject formign a powerful beam that was shot straight at the larger pokemon. Whether this move was avoided or halted her next order would come. "Now Slowpoke GROWL ATTACK" She shouted. This would of course present itself in a vocal form of the Slowpoke releasing a large growl from its mouth that aimed to lower the attack stat of the larger pokemon.

Kangaskhan's eyes widened as the pokemon received a strong confusion directly. Due to the large level difference the large pokemon took a huge amount of damage and its momentum was immediately redirected and Kangaskhan crashed toward the ground. A large dust cloud soon arose from the spot where the pokemon landed and when the dust cleared all that was left was a fainted Kangashkan. Cressila blinked once before glaring at Hana and returned her pokemon. "That is all of the pokemon battling I will spare at this time" she said.

It was truely a shock, Hana had expected a battle like this to rage on for some time. Especially since the larger pokemon did in fact look much stronger than that of the tiny Slowpoke. But after the confusion was successful that simple hit seemed to be the only move Slowpoke was required to utilize. One Hit KO was the phrase generally used thus this young pokemon would also gain a further experience boost of ten. Due to the experience share that ten would become 5 and 5 would be given to each pokemon within her party. "AHHH, Slowpoke well done" she would scream in delight. Her nimble and soft body would begin to move first a walk, then a slow jog before erupting into a proper run. The pokemon that she had just utilized in this battle would also do this yet its full on run would seem more like a lazy mans walk. Closing the distance the trainer would lift her pokemon into the sky and begin to spin around laughing and giggling as she praised her pokemon. Finally with 5 shots of light returning each pokemon she had upon her minus the Lotad who once more would be within her arms she would turn to face the female. "Thank you for battling with m.." Her mouth would close as her eyes widened.

Staring behind the girl Hana had witnessed one of the most beatifulist pokemon in the history of the pokemon world. Removing her pokedex which was unique in color being an aqua blue and unique in altercation and application. You see this pokedex only registered Water Type pokemon. Scanning this data she would gasp as she had witnessed the quadruped pokemon bound elegantly. Blue in color with diamond like patterns. A main of purple locks and two ribbon like shapes that glistened and moved behind it. A large crystaline structure upon its head like a crown.After staring the ribbon like structures were its tails. Such a beauty and after seeing her pokdex it was in fact a water pokemon. "Suicune" she whispered softly. "Im sorry i have to go" she said to the woman whom she had just battled. Charging past her Hana would soon be in pursuit of the legendary pokemon.

[font=monospace] Shortly after Hana had left Cressila rushed off to the nearby Pokemon Center to heal up her Kangaskhan. When she had left the building her two pokemon had both been following her. Now that Hana had left Cressila had no reason t stay and search for the pokemon know Blastiose. So, by the end of the day Cressila was on a boat that would take her all the way the Kanto Region so she could continue her search.{/font]
