A Night of Horror

As the two trainers ran out of the Old Chateau after the horrible ordeal they were put through they continued on their journey to Oreburgh city and their first gym battle of the Sinnoh League. Suddenly they were confronted by a ____.

As the boy would turn around the trainer that would have been his company through the adventure would just have dissapeared. There were no traces in the ground where he might have gone to and it just looked like he vanished in a puff of smoke. Like he would ever even have existed. As the now alone boy would go to oreburgh city to get his own badge he would have to go through a kind of small canyon. The sun was now coming up as it was becoming day, the colours of the walls of the canyon were now shown. You could see all the diffrent layers of the canyon each having their own kind of colour. It was a nice sight to behold and the sunrise just madeit more special as a stone was now rolling behind the boy trying to stop whenever the boy did so it seemed like the boy would be standing still.

When night came Cyrus couldn't keep his calm expression and eventually started crying. He didn't know why as he had only known Nico for a few days but he felt like they were brothers already. The next morning Cyrus continued walking through the canyon, his head still looking down as if he regretted just leaving Nico and not going back for him. That fact would haunt his conscience for a while. When he finally looked up the sun was setting so he made a fire and covered himself up with his coat to try to get some sleep.

The sun rose again as the flying type pokemon began to tweet making the people know that it was time to wake up as an oddly shaped round rock was laying not far from the boy his camp. It looked like it was a kind of rocky boulder that had fallen of a mountain however it was pretty deep into the ground and seemed stuck. But everyone would be able to see that it was not an normal boulder kind of stone. It had something about it that was ... of.

When Cyrus opened his eyes the sun instantly made him close them again. It was his fault really. He had wanted to sleep facing the direction of the sun so he would wake up earlier however all it did was hurt his eyes. However when he finally regained vision the first thing he noticed was strange rock nearby. He tried to remember whether that was there when he fell asleep the previous night however he had no memory of it. As a result of this mystery rock Cyrus sent out his Snover. Cyrus said through his aura " Snover use Razor Leaf ". Almost instantly the short but stout Snover sent a flurry of razor sharp leaves towards the mysterious rock.

The geodude was lucky as he had heard a kind of metalic sound which he knew too well from the people that allways were around here. It was the sound of an opening pokeball and he knew that it would be from the trainer who he had camped with not far from here as he looked at the boy and noticed that his snover had been send out. He rolled away out of harms way from the leaves that were coming into to him at a huge rate as looked at the pokemon and came in at surprising speed for an tackle.

Cyrus noticed the surprising speed of the geodude so he waited for it to get close before saying " Snover magical leaf now!". Snover unleashed a barrage of magically controlled sharp leaves.Cyrus smiled hoping the attack would hit. He then realised how excited he was for this battle and that he had regained his will of fire. He was becoming his old self again.

The geodude watcched as the magic leavves were shot towards him. Those leaves were magically controlled to hit the target as he watched the small ice grass pokemon shoot the multi coloured leaves at him as he was thinking at what speed they were going to hit him however he would of course have a anti strategy. This stone pokemon was very smart as he began to use defense curl to raise his defense stat before using mud sport on himself. It wasn't a damaging move and it would work for more then electric attacks as he was now a ball of wet mud. As he was rolled up the leaves hit but all of them got stuck in the wet mud as he shook it of himself as the attack of the grass pokemon had been avoided. Now he began to use tackle as he was coming towards the snover.

Cyrus decided to leave the Geodude to its antics turning away from the rock pokemon. He then proceeded to walk away not looking back as the sun rose from the cracks in the rocks. Cyrus travelled to the nearest airport to board a plane for Hoenn. He would begin anew.
