Chapter 1: The "Everything Sure" Guy

Sky Regit finally gets a move on. He wanted to challenge Brock with Aerodactyl but since Aerodactyl is part-Flying, he might have a slight disadvantage. Sky is a guy who wants everything perfect and sure. He does not wanna use Salamence, he uses him as a last resort. He goes out near the waters trying to see if a water Pokemon that is capable of walking in the land will appear.

The first Pokemon to show up wasn't the water type he was looking for. Oddly, it was a Mr. Mime wandering around. It looked at Sky and waved, seeming friendly.

Mr. Mime, Female, lvl 15

(I hate Mr. Mimes. But, wow. WTF. I looked at Serebii's B/W Pokedex, checked Mime out. He knows a good set of moves for a Level 15. Well they might not be helpful in the games but for RPs, they are such trolls! :3 I'm gonna think of capturing her... But she looks ugly. :/ I'm very picky with Pokemon, appearance is included when I choose XD. By the way, female Mr. Mimies... shouldnt they be called Mrs. Mime? XD)

Sky ignored the friendship. "I'm sorry but I have to do this. Aerodactyl, come out and use Supersonic!"

Aerodactyl is sent out!

Aerodactyl opens its mouth and releases multiple rings from it at the opponent, confusing it.

Mr.Mime, not expecting that got hit head on and wandered around in confusion, running into a tree in the process. Good news is it did some damage, bad news is, it snapped out of confusion at that. It gave an angry cry and used Confusion at the offending Aerodactyl.

(You just like Confusion so much, don't you? :D)

The battle-hungry Aerodactyl manages to gain control defending him from the Psychic attack. [b]"You don't look like affected by the attack, Aerodactyl. Well then, go Bite her," Sky commanded. Aerodactyl flies towards the foe in a moderate speed with its jaws wide open ready to use the super-effective Dark type move against the Psychic type.

(No not really. Just everything I mod seems to have Confusion. *Shrug* :3 )

Mr. Mime was hit as it skidded back. It whirled it's finger's a bit and pointed at Aerodactyl, sending numerous sharp leaves at Aerodactyl, using Razor Leaf.

Aerodactyl kept flying away after his attack hit. He sped and flew up and spun a 360-degree and got hit upon turning. The Level advantage of the foe and the Type of the move used turned it into a super super-effective hit. Aerodactyl crashed on the ground. "Aerodactyl, please try to stand up and fly. We are not allowing ourselves to lose to a wild Pokémon," Sky supported. Aerodactyl somehow manages to get up but doesn't have enough energy to fly. He crawls on all fours back to his Trainer with a speed of a limping human. "Aerodactyl, I know you feel horrible but try to pull yourself together," the Dragon Trainer advices.

He was about to issue a command but he felt Salamence's Pokéball moving. The Dragon wants to help out. "Hm! I don't really think Aerodactyl will win this. I can't let him lose his first match but I also need that Mr. Mime. Aerodactyl, rest in your Pokéball. Time for Plan B. C'mon out, Salamence," he exclaimed. Aerodactyl tapped an empty Pokéball on Sky's belt as Salamence came out from another Pokéball.

"Okay, big guy. Scary Face," Sky commanded. Salamence gave an icy stare into the now horribly weaker foe that he can wipe away in one hit. Sky doesn't really plan on hurting the foe. He will try to strike fear into its heart and once the foe is shaking, the capture shall take place.

Mr. Mime shuddered, not liking the look of it's new foe. It set up a Barrier, sharply raising it's defenses and then unleashed another Razor Leaf.

Salamence grinned at the sight of the terrified foe. From his view, the Razor Leaves are as useless as thrown crumpled papers. He unleashes Embers that turned the Leaves to dust which should terrify the foe even more. "Nicely done, Salamence. Now, let's show her how bad you can be. Fire a Dragonbreath upwards hitting the skies," Sky commanded.

Salamence, still with a grin, looked up and opened its huge mouth as it unleashed a powerful beam of Dragon breath converted into energy showing-off its overly powered capabilities to the horribly weaker foe. After firing, he stares back into the foe's eyes.

The Mr. Mime tried to meet it's eyes with it's foes but it couldn't. Meeting the reptilian's eyes needed practice, training and courage. Seeing the Dragon Breath plume out from the Salamence's mouth was intimidating but it still tried out a Confusion. Then it leapt at the dragon, using Double Slap.

Sky was about to reach for an empty Pokéball when the rules of being a Dragon Trainer flashed in his mind. "I... can't capture," he stated. Salamence was surprised and felt a little bit ashamed because he didn't get in there and joined the party for nothing. "I'm a Dragon Trainer. I can't really capture anything that is not a Dragon. Aerodactyl's not a Dragon but he shows some sort of a deep bond and connection with those that are like you. I'm sorry but thanks," he explained. Salamence face palmed with its tail and gave a faint smile to its trainer as he tapped his Pokéball and went back.

Sky turns around and heads for the Pokémon Center. This can be considered as him running away from his foe which leaves his Pokémon with no earned EXP at all.

After healing the battered Aerodactyl, Sky goes back to the same area where he fought the wild Mr. Mime. He hope that either a Water Pokémon capable of walking on the ground will show up or maybe something else.

Instead, a Hitmontop appeared, whirling through the grass and unsettling leaves.


Level 19

(WHY MUST THESE AWESOME POKEMON APPEAR IN A DRAGON TRAINER'S TOPIC?! D< XD)

"Very well, top-like Pokémon, let's spin. Come on out, Aerodactyl," Sky exclaimed sending Aerodactyl out. "Okay, Wing Attack," he commanded. Aerdoactyl's frustrations over the last battle is still somewhere in his heart and mind, he speeds towards the foe and would slice the foe repeatedly with his wings.

Hitmontop was hit and was sent flying somewhere and could not be tracked down.

Aerodactyl gained 19 exp!
Aerodactyl grew to level 13 with 7 exp remaining!

(Eh? Why so easy? XD)

"Well, that's why they shouldn't keep spinning," Sky stated as the two took a leisurely walk around still searching for what they want.

(With the momentum of the attack, Hitmontop was sent flying. Does that sound familiar? "Hitmontop's blasting off AGAAAAAAAIN" XD Sorry. Just a bit of humour.)

A Luxio appeared from the bushes, bristling and growling hard and electricity coursed through it's already-standing-on-end fur.


Level 18

(Ugh. Not that annoying catchphrase. Eh XDDD) (A LUXIO. A FREAKING LUXIO. WHY WONT YOU GIVE ME THOSE POKEMON ON BRUCE TOPIC INSTEAD? :( :( :( XDDD)

"An Electric type. Alright, Supersonic," commanded Sky. Aerodactyl flies a bit closer to the wild Pokemon and unleashes odd sound waves from his body that is meant to confuse the foe!

(Trade over maybe? o.O )

Luxio dodged it with great speed as it sped in towards Aerodactyl and attacked with Double Kick (EM).

(like sky knows who bruce is XDD)

Aerodactyl evaded the foe's attack with ease. He flew higher and waited for his trainer's response. "Okay, Ice Fang," he commanded. Aerodactyl's fangs becomes engulfed in blue energy as he fly lower and would bite the foe with Ice Fang!

Luxio swerved aside and it's eyes grew large as the Ice Fang struck. Suddenly it retaliated with it's own Ice Fang (EM).

(It's allowed to have more than 1 Egg Move right?)

(Give Luxio Hyper Beam and have him summon Arceus and Rayquaza and stuff. Suuuuuure that's allowed.)

Aerodactyl gets hit by the Ice Fang and as being Rock/Flying, it's super effective! "We're not calling Salamence for back-up! Try another Supersonic!" Aerodactyl tries to confuse the foe.

Luxio, recovering from the Ice Fang was hit head on. It shook itself, trying to get rid of the buzzing in it's ears. It snarled in frustration and used another Ice Fang, getting the better of it's confusion.

Aerodactyl flew higher evading the foe agian. "Good, now Ice Fang again." aerodactyl used ice fang

Luxio was getting weaker with the hits as it hit. It's ears continued to buzz a it ran into a tree in confusion. It shook it's head and succeeded in using Ice Fang again.
