Let's get the second ribbon Eterna city (Card and ~Ian~ )

Haruka gave Ian back Shocky, but explained that she was going to be a little late. Back at the hall, the match was between Bly and Celia. The two were evenly matched, both meters having gone down to half. There was still 2 minutes left on the clock, although it began to look in Bly's favor. Bly's Marshtomp was launching out some Mud Shot attacks and caused them to swirl around itself, before launching them at Celia's Delcatty. The Delcatty began to get dirty from the mud and that caused Celia's points to drop further. Now there were only about 1/3 of her meter left.

Ian knew who would win as he was trying to get one pokeball loose from his belt. He was pretty nervous as his hands were shaking the whole way, he tried to get it clean, as he whiped it of trying to get it nice and clean, he heard the bell and knew one of them had won but he did not mind watching he would like it more as a suprise to know which one he would face. ''Well here I go'' He said while stuttering feeling more nervous that he had done on the performance stage, as he went to the curtain getting ready to get on stage.

The MC announced Bly as the winner and asked the two coordinators to leave the stage, as it was now the duel between Ian and Julia. The duo left, Celia crying and running into the crowd with her Delcatty following, and Bly walking calmly and coolly off stage with a smirk on his face. He seemed rather proud of himself for defeating Celia, but also very cocky. Haruka glared at him as he left, then cheered for Ian. Julia came onto the stage, looking rather excited.

Ian slowly came on stage feeling a bit uncomfortable as he clenched the pokeball from his ursaring in his hand. It would be a great asset to his fighting team as he had the possibility of winning now due to his sheer power. He had placed the ball capsule on the pokeball just to be sure to give his pokemon a little more somehing to impress the judges. ''Curtain's up come on out Ursaring'' He said as he threw his pokemon in the air and in a cloud of dark smoke his ursaring appeared on the stage letting out a huge roar.

Julia sent out an Ambipom, meaning that she had a very good type disadvantage against Ian's Ursaring. Haruka called out from the crowd for Ian to watch out for Ambipom's Low Sweep attack. It would deal a lot of damage to a Normal-Type Pokemon like Ursaring. The MC rang the bell for the two coordinators, and their point bars showed up.

Julia started off with a simple Thief attack, Ambipom charging forward upon Julia's command. The Pokemon didn't just run either; it jumped up every now and then, pulling off some dance moves and earning 'ooh's and ah's' from the crowd. Some points ended up being deducted from Ian's bar as a result.

Ian could see a thief move being used as he had an idea what would happen however hesis nit have a item on ursaring so it wouldnt do so much damage. "Ok use slash and twist" Ian said as the bear pokemons claws began to glow and he began to turn making a sirt if brown tornado as it sped forward to the ambipom.

Julia was not expecting this attack, and it struck its target. This caused Julia's points to drop by 10 and Haruka cheered from her seat in the crowd.

Julia commanded that Ambipom use Counter, knowing it would do more damage since the Pokemon had just been hit. Said Pokemon executed the move, using graceful steps as it did so. It jumped up and twirled in the air before landing on its tails and balancing nicely. It then jumped off of its tails and onto its feet only a few steps from Ursaring, and let loose the Counter attack, dealing damage with its tails. This caused Ian's points to drop by 15.

''Ursaring use fury swipes to block the tails'' Ursarings began to slash back the tails that came towards him hoping to make sure her points would drop as it looked like a real spectacle, as the tails fought with the claws, ''now use sweet scent'' Ian said as he saw his ursaring jump back and a soft sweet scent filled the arena where they were standing hoping to break the concentration of the foe's pokemon.

Ursaring's claws managed to completely block all of Ambipom's strikes. Julia grimaced at this, and said Pokemon leaped away from Ursaring once the final block was made. As Ian had hoped, the spectacle caused Julia's points to drop significantly.

Furthermore, the Sweet Scent attack used by Ian's Ursaring caused the entire stage to become cloaked with light pink petals as well as a wonderfully sweet scent to envelop the area. Julia knew what Ian was trying to accomplish, and yelled for Ambipom to not smell the scent, but was too late. The Pokemon had already started to become relaxed as the sickly sweet smell filled its nostrils. This caused Julia's points to drop further.

Julia: 15/50

''Now is our chance Ursaring use slash'' Ian yelled as he could see the pokemon doze of a bit due to the sweet scent move, Ursaring began to charge forward as the claw began to glow and the pokemon leashed out making a gracefull jump before trying to hi tthe pokemon and win the half final.

Julia shouted for Ambipom to dodge, but said Pokemon was much too drowsy from the Sweet Scent attack to even register this command. It sleepily stood there with an awkward expression on its face; seemingly content with the sweet smell in the air. That's when Ian's Ursaring's Slash made its mark. Julia's points were dropped completely, causing her to collapse to her knees from the shock.
"I... LOST? Against a newbie?" she said with a surprised tone.
Ian: 30/50
Julia: 0/50

The MC seemed to be surprised that Ian had won, but announced it anyway. The crowd was silent the entire time, however. It seemed even the people sitting in the bleachers were in shock. At least until a certain girl shouted Ian's name over and over, causing the crowd to go wild with joy.
