The New Adventure Hatches! (Completed)

[Current Location]: Gavin's House


Gavin was sitting on a large, leather chair that swayed back and forth in the living room of his house when he went downstairs to his approved but small laboratory. He walked on the tiles of the floor as they made a clinking sound. He stared at a large Capsule-Like machine that was used for Incubation. The Egg was now quickly swaying back and forth, and had many cracks in it. The astonished apprentice professor quickly typed in when the Pokemon Hatched in his Pokedex, for he knew that it was going to hatch now.

      He pushed a red button on the Incubator, and the glass wall rose. The shell was now half-way off, and the egg was gradually coming off. A Beige puff of fur protruded from the now destroyed egg. An Eevee then popped out of the egg. "Amazing! My first hatched egg!" Gavin exclaimed as his Pokedex made a sort of ding sound, indicating that data was successfully saved into it. Gavin then quickly reached for the Eevee and hugged it. "I'm calling you Eternia. I know, it's not a creative name, but it's the only thing that would commemorate this moment!" Gavin told Eternia as it jumped out of Gavin's hand and onto the floor.

      Eternia wobbled a bit at first, but then quickly adapted to walking. "Eevee are common around here, so I better do something to make you stand out," Gavin thought to himself as he glanced at a green square of fabric on the lab table. He grabbed it, and gently tied it around Eternia's Neck. "There!" Gavin said as Eternia smiled.

"Perhaps we should take a walk outside, just to get a breath of fresh air..Would you like that, Eternia?" Gavin asked Eternia. Eternia still didn't understand what Gavin was saying, but assumed it was a good thing. "Great! Let's go!" Gavin said as he slowly went up the stairs and stopped. Eternia hesitated for a moment, then slowly placed his paw onto the staircase, and eventually climbed up the stairs. "Wonderful! Eternia is learning well!" Gavin told himself as his Poxedex quickly scanned Eternia. It made a dinging sound, and showed all of the moves, stats, and level of Eternia. "This will be important," Gavin said as he 'Bookmarked' the page on the Pokedex's home screen.

      Gavin and his Pokemon then made it outside. Eternia looked in awe as he saw many people come down the street. Gavin placed his Pokedex in the Pocket of his lab coat,and pulled his Badge Case out. "So, the first gym is in Oreburgh, huh? I'm sure Eternia and I will get some good training on the way there!" Gavin told himself as Eternia soon was at his side, learning how to walk faster. "You can get in the Pokeball if you want," Gavin told Eternia, tapping the small, ping-pong ball sized Pokeball around his neck. Eternia shook his head, and continued to walk next to Gavin. "Suit yourself," Gavin told Eternia as they approached Eterna Forest.

[Current Location]: Eterna Forest

      Gavin stepped inside of the 1st patch of grass inside of Eterna Forest and expected Eternia to become frightened by such wildlife. To his surprise, Eternia happily walked ahead and glanced at each tree he passed. "Wow, That's interesting." Gavin thought as he quickly took notes of Eternia's behavior in his Pokedex, then placed his Pokedex back into his pocket. Suddenly, a silhouette of a Pokemon appeared in front of Eternia! It was a wild ____.

[Wild Pokemon Battle!]

A Magneton floated out. Its eyes looked angry. It sent a quick jolt of electricity in Eternia's direction. It was Shock Wave! As soon as he did he used Discharge. It didn't hit Eternia but instead spread out through the forest. Suddenly a whole swarm of Magneton and Magnemite began to meet together. The circled and swarmed sending zaps of lightning at Eternia. Then, all at once, they all used Discharge at eachother. The energy then met in the center, causing a cluster of lightning, similar to ball lightning, to form. It then let off a massive discharge of energy outward and skyward. Within seconds a Magnezone appeared, and lots more Magnemite and Megneton joined the ones already there. Gavin and Eternia were in great danger!

"Well, we've gotten ourselves in a predicament, haven't we?" Gavin asked Eternia calmly as he flashed out his Pokedex at the swarm of Pokemon, then Backed away. The Pokedex quickly scanned all of the Pokemon there, and re-adding it to the many entries Gavin has collected. "I'm sorry, Eternia, but we have to go.." Gavin told the nearly terrified Eternia as he pulled the Pokeball off of his necklace. He pushed the button on the middle, and a red laser beam shot towards Eternia, and Eternia became a flash of light. The light flowed into the Pokeball as it retracted. Gavin placed the necklace back onto his neck, placed his Pokedex back into his lab coat, and darted away from the massive Pokemon Swarm.

He kept running as fast as he could, and hid under some bushes now and then. He ran all the way back to Eterna City. He then went into the Pokemon Center and healed his Pokemon. Then, the exhausted Gavin pulled out his Eevee. "If we want to take on those Pokemon, we're going to have to train." Gavin told Eternia as they both walked back to the lab. Gavin then grabbed his backpack, placed two Wooden Training Targets into the bag, zipped it up, and made sure Eternia was okay with training so soon. Eternia smiled happily as it sprinted out of the door. Gavin was surprised and quickly ran after him. Once Gavin catches up to the Eevee, he started to laugh. "Okay, now stay with me." Gavin said, out of breath, as they both made their way to Sinnoh Route 205, a safer alternative to Eterna Forest.
