Back Here for a Simple Reason

"Suit yourself," the Old Man whistled through his teeth, "though since you've been a good sport, I will tell you this... The Street Lights may be the only gang in Eterna, but we're far from the only organized law breakers in the area. Some groups a while back could've been around the area, we didn't care to bother with them so long as they kept out of the city. Now, then, scram." For the first time, the man's eyes seemed almost soft, but they quickly flashed an emotion that couldn't quite be described and his keen menace returned. "Don't just stand there," he said, "I said git, before I make you."

Jeff smiled and walked on out, he looked around outside and ran of in one direction before sending Zekrom out and flying off to another land, back to eterna to just relax. He landed and looked about, this place was nice and relaxing, so, he decided just that, to relax, he walked over to a tree, climbed up, it was time for him to get a little more sleep. He awoke again at noon, Pdgeys chirping, some caterpies scootling around, and some trainers playing with their pokemon.

Well aren't we in high spirits? Jeff's voice said, it'd be a shame if I ruined that. Echoed laughter erupted from the trainer's head, apparently the voice didn't think that a shame at all. There was nothing too interesting around Jeff. The kids were happily running amok with their Pokemon, the wild Pidgey were being fed bits of bread by an elderly looking fellow, and the world seemed peaceful except for the strange intruder within Jeff's head. But it seemed a slight inconvenience, since the world and day were at Jeff's disposal!

Jeff smiled, but upon hearing the familiar voice, sighed and his smile vanished. "Forgot your still here, the mysterious voice inside my head who... well... I have idea about, main things are wanted to be answered, but you'll never answer me either way..." Jeff got up and went outside, he looked around to see what to do, then he thought of something "I could make a team of some sorts, that would be nice, now to think of all who'll all be upon that team..."

The day was pretty nice, and there was plenty for Jeff to do. There were trainers to battle in the area, and an abundance of wild Pokemon. In fact, as Jeff contemplated his next move, a peppy little Sunkern was being carried by the breeze, laughing happily. That is, until the cute little Pokemon collided with Jeff's face. After the crash, the poor little Pokemon burst into tears and looked sadly up at Jeff, trying to apologize. If it wasn't already clear, the little Pokemon was just a baby still.

Sunkern, Female, Level 1

Jeff stared down to the Sunkern with a smile and softly petted it on the top of her head, before walking away and looking  upon the road ahead, he's going into a nearby route, but suddenly stopped. He quickly took out his pokedex to search some pokemon, of course it was empty because he hasn't done anything about it. He stood there to think, he knew of pokemon from Sinnoh, Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto, he didn't know much about newer pokemon, he only read an article he found in the Pokemon Center about some Ninja Frog like pokemon named Froakie and some other starters, but what was the place? "Hm... ignore that for now, I gotta get a good team going!"

As Jeff trailed into thought, he'd suddenly become barraged by... another Sunkern. And another and another. Three more seemed to be riding the breeze that lead right into him. Or, now that didn't seem much like coincident. Perhaps they were thrown, but by what? The longer Jeff sat by that tree, the more Sunkern ended up around him. And upon seeing him pet the first, they all jumped happily and cried out for his attention, surrounding the trainer.

Jeff sighed, really? An army of Sunkern are out to get him! Well, only a bit of attention but, same difference! He decides to just walk away from the tree and avoid the annoying little seeds, well, they are babies, what much do they know anyway? Jeff keeps walking to get farther away "alright now, what should I get... maybe a Jolteon, that would be cool" Jeff said out loud

Something seemed to snicker as Jeff made his way farther from his position, a train of Sunkern following like baby ducks. "Gren!" it seemed to laugh loud enough for Jeff to hear, catching itself and fading into silence. It seems the Sunkern were no accident, and only a pause later, another one was thrown toward Jeff.

Jeff gently swatted a sunkern to the side and looked straight at the tree, focusing hard, as if trying to see what is causing this mess. He starts to walk closer and closer making observations to make sure whatever is in there can't escape without being seen "Hello, anyone in there?" He said, just to make it is something or someone throwing sunkern at him and not actually it all being coincident

The snickering grew louder, though Jeff's intuition to look into the tree would be a good one. As he looked up and spoke, another Sunkern fell toward the direction of his head, and the figure of a much larger Pokemon could be seen for a brief moment before, in a dark blur, it speedily seemed to disappear from the trainer's gaze. Whatever it was, it seemed to be enjoying messing with Jeff. There was a great herd of Sunkern built up now, and all of them crowded around his legs, hopping up and down to get the trainer's attention. It didn't seem that whatever was throwing them was completely gone, though, as another Sunkern was sent spiraling in Jeff's direction, thrown much like a shuriken would be.

Jeff gently swatted the ones thrown at him again, Jeff sighed "Another pokemon that seems to like to mess with me" hewas unsure of what pokemon it was because it is, is a pokemon unknown to his knowledge, a Kalos pokemon to be exact. He knew of no pokemon who throws objects like shurikens, or shurikens themselves, or made a sound like 'Gren!' when it chuckles, the only thing that came to mind was... a human "would you stop messing with me already, its getting annoying!" He threw a fist up in front of him

My, isn't this fun? the voice within Jeff's head chuckled, finding amusement in his situation. Meanwhile, whatever was throwing Sunkern seemed to have ran out of available ammo. There was about twelve of them crowded around Jeff now, each within its baby stage, and each seeking his attention, bouncing all around his feet in hopes that he'd pay attention to at least one of them. Finding now the time to show himself, the Greninja jumped and landed in front of Jeff. He scooped up one of the Sunkern and holding it as if were some sort of weapon. Giddy at this fact, the Sunkern playfully nibbled on the frog's hand humming happily.

Greninja, Male, Level 45

Jeff looked in awe for a moment, it was a pokemon, a pokemon he had no idea a pokemon like existed, but he relised something, it looked the the blue frog pokemon on the poster. Jeff smirked "you wanna battle water type? Lets battle!" He threw a pokeball in the air and out shot a red beam, as it started to take shape, Jeff yelled out "Go! Venusaur!" The shape formed into the grass poison pokemon, and the pokemon stomped both its front feet to issue the battle "Venusaur!"

Grinning, Greninja gripped a Sunkern lightly in his hand, threw it in the air slightly and caught it as if were a ball. Giving the small Pokemon a friendly nudge with his cheek, he tossed the baby Sunkern lightly toward its crowd of friends and siblings, which in turn started cheering the ninja frog on.

Like a respectful ninja, the Greninja clapped his hands together and bowed toward Venusaur in respect to his opponent. Then, he lowered into a crouching battle stance, narrowing his eyes in focus. Opening his mouth, the air cooled and a ball of ice condensed slightly in front of it. Then, the ice shot out as a beam toward the grass type, an Ice Beam attack. Strangely enough, as the attack was fired, a strange sheen crossed his skin as if... attacking had some strange effect. The ice suddenly seemed stronger... almost like it was shot out be an Ice type!

"Venusaur! Dodge it" Jeff called out, only to realise his mistake, Venusaur, a giant, short legged pokemon cannot dodge an ice shard flying at him, he took high amount of damage.

"Alright, Venusaur, use Leech Seed!" Jeff called out, and the Venusaur shot a bunch of seeds at the Greninja

Greninja, though fast, had been too cocky by celebrating when his Ice Beam made contact. The Sunkern around him cheered, and in his moment of soaking in the praise, he didn't expect the larger Grass type to launch an attack of his own so quickly. The small seeds latched themselves onto his his body and began sapping up his strength, causing him to recoil slightly as he felt their effects.

Groaning, the frog held his hands up and interlocked them into a strange symbol reminiscing that of Ninjutsu. In a puff of smoke, he sacrificed some of his own health in order to build a Substitute that would take damage for him, at least temporarily. It was a risky move, cutting his HP after a Leech Seed, but he decided to take the gamble. Lying in wait, he watched carefully, waiting for Venusaur to strike his Substitute before he launched another attack of his own. He was no longer an Ice type, but now seemed to carry along the Normal type.

"Venusaur, take the substitute out of here with Razor Leaf" Jeff called out, a bunch of leaves spurted out, then shot straight at the doll.
