Rayles journey: Welcome to Rustboro

Rayle finally arrived at Rustboro City. The first thing he saw was a tall brown tower with the words, 'Devon Co' on the top, then a building with a red roof with the word 'PC' on it. Rayle headed to the Pokemon Centre and asked Nurse Joy to heal Mudkip. "Is your name Rayle Larg, by any chance?" asked Nurse Joy politely. Shocked, Rayle nodded and Nurse Joy handed him a green Egg, "From your father, he says happy easter and that he is in Mauville." Rayle knew that Mauville was only two towns to the East, so he vowed to head there after beating the Gym.

Twenty minutes later, Rayle walked out of the Gym with his healed Mudkip, and he raced Mudkip to the Gym, and was about to win, but Mudkip shocked him with Ice Beam and jumped through the Gym doors. Rayle followed.

The gym was large and he needed to do more than walk through the doors to find any gym leader.

The Gym sure was difficult to navigate. Just a strange maze of rocks walls, Rayle predicted that he would need to use some special tricks to get to the Gym. Just as he was about to order Mudkip to use Ice Beam on the roof to spell, "Dont Hide Leader" on the roof, he felt a wabble in his bag, and then he pulled ou his Egg, but it was no longer an Egg, it had hatched into Togepi. Rayle hugged his new Pokemon and Togepi started looking at Mudkip. Mudkip danced around Togepi and Togepi growled at Mudkip.

Rayle wanted to get to the leader and use his new Togepi in a battle so said to his Pokemon, "Okay Mudkip, use Ice Beam on the roof like this picture." Rayle showed him a piece of paper with the words, ' Dont Hide Leader' printed on it and Mudkip obediently followed.

Just in case the leader didnt care about Mudkip's message, Rayle decided that he should walk around the maze ang get Mudkip to Ice Beam the floor so that he could find his way back, taking inspiration from a book he once read as a child.

Roxanne just stood there relaxing and waiting for Rayle to show up

Rayle kept navigating through the maze. He began to get irrotated at the cold waterdripping on his head as a result of the ice Beam on the walls. Eventually, he came to the end of the maze, and saw Roxxanne standing there smiling, "What you sniling at?" demmander Rayle. Mudkip leaped at Roxanne. Togepi stood by Rayle's side.

"How about a Double Battle, Leader, your two Pokemon verses my Mudkip and Togepi, is that fair to you?" Rayle clenched his fists, "You disadvantaged me by tricking me with the maze, so I should pick the battle, now lets go!"

"hey its the rules of the gym,but i dont mind"Says Roxanne sending out geodude and nosepass"lets do this"

"Rock type Pokemon" comments Rayle, "Ok, Togepi and Mudkip, lets do this." Togepi begins to dance around joyously as Mudkip stood obediently. "Ok guys, lets concentrate" says Rayle, "mudkip, use Water Gun on that Geodude, and Togepi" Rayle thought for a moment, "Uh, what can you do?"

Mudkip obediently launched water en mass at Geodude, directly at it, while Togepi just stood there. "Uh, Togepi, what are you doing?" asked Rayle, "the Nosepass, attack it."

"ok geodude,use rock throw on mudkip,nosepass,rock tomb on togepi"says Roxanne confidently

Geodude was hit and used rock throw

Nosepass used rock tomb on togepi

Togepi appeared to be doing nothing and dancing as the rocks pounded it and trapped it. Mudkip knew it needed to do something if Togepi were to last this attack, as one final rock came crashing down, about to hit Togepi. Mudkip reaches into the tomb and grabs Togepi, then hiding inside the tomb, avoiding the rocks that Geodude id hurling at him.

Then, Rayle yells out, "Mudkip, Water Gun!" and at that time, Togepi used Rock Tomb and began trying to entomb Nosepass in rocks, as Mudkip readied his water gun for as soon as his barrier of rocks is broken.

(What happens to the rocks?)

Geodude used rock throw in the air,going over the water gun and plumetting towards mudkip,geodude was hit again and got weakish

Nosepass slid away from the rock tomb,and used it to make another tomb on mudkip

Mudkip suddenly became scared, looking at the amount of rocks coming towards him, "Okay Togepi, we need a distraction." h yelled and Togepi did so. She smiled and began dancing attractively around Geodude and Nosepass, hoping to Charm one, causing them to stop attacking Mudkip, or annoy one, whoch would still cause them to stop attacking Mudkip.

Meanwhile, Mudkip saw Geodude land next to him, and decided that there was only one thing to do, he picked up Geodude and used it as a shiepd from the rocks, Mudkip was still majorly hit, and sent flying back, but maybe not as much as Geodude.

(uh geodude is far from mudkip,mudkip cant pick stuff up,and what about the hurtling rock he threw at mudkip?)

Geodude looked at togepi and used tackle

Mudkip was weak from the rock throw which hit it, and was about to hide behind the rocks to recover, then he turned and saw Geodude charging at Mudkip. Geodeude had taken alot, maybe Mudkip could finish it, "Mudkip use Water Gun on Geodude!" Rayle yelled desperately, as Togepi just stood there trying to Charm Geodude.

Geodude was hit and went limp and just flew at mudkip still,from force of tackling speed

Mudkip knew he needed to try something tricky if he was to get out to fthis. Rayle had the answer, "Use Tackle on Geodude," yelled Rayle, because if Mudkip was touching Geodude then it would also be hitting Mudkip. This was more difficult than it seemed as rocks were flying everywhere, and Mudkip was being showered qith debris.

Togepi decided that she had to help Mudkip, so she used Mirror Move to mimic Mudkips Water Gun at Nosepass.

Nosepass got hit and used harden

Geodude made collision with mudkip,but since it was fainted,only mudkip took damage,geodude was then returned

Mudkip was now very weak, but Togepi was fine, so Togepi began circle Nosepass using Charm while Mudkip got back up pff the ground. While Togepi circled Nosepass, Rayle noticed that Nosepass never turned around, and that its nose always pointed the same direction, north. "Mudkip, go behind Nosepass and use Water Gun!" yelled Rayle, and Mudkip sprinted behind Nosepass to use Water Gun, "Hardenning wont work against a Special attack like Water Gun" smiled Rayle, as Togepi began readying Mirror Move.

Alex looked through the window.
"A Double Gym Battle? That's a new one."
Alex turned to Timburr.
"We can take him, right? Just as soon as he comes out..."

Mudkips water sprayed harmlessly of the rocks, but Rayle yelled out to Muskip to keep spraying water. The battling area was beginning to get soaked, and Togepi jumoed onto a high rock because the water level was continuosly rising.

(around him)Nosepass then used rock throw,having a rock plumet down at mudkip

Mudkip dodged the rock, but in the process stopped using Water Gun, and was hit by a bit of debris. It got onky a slight shock, and decided to reaim its Water Gun in such away that it would land directly inside Nosepass's tomb, now already swimming, as he had flooded the battleground knee deep.

Nosepass moved out and stood on a rock,and used rock tomb on mudkip

Mudkip was entombed by rocks, but the rocks werent that high off the water, so just used Water Gun, raised the water level and jumped onto the rocks, and used Water Gun on Nosepass, aiming also to make the rock slippery, before Rayle had a chance to tell it. "Uh, use Mirror Move Tigepi" he said.
