Beach battles

After a quick boat trip, mainly because Lucas slept from exhaustion, Briny Docked the ship and said.
"Good luck boy and if you need more help just ask."
"Thanks for the help." Lucas thanked concisely. After the rest he had Lucas was ready for a day at the beach. All day Lucas helped Cubone and Darmanitan build sand castles and had a water war with Mudkip and Spearow. After a nights rest at a inn Lucas decided he should train for his next gym battle so he went around the island and found a cave and decided to adventure in it and a wild ________ appeared, from the dimly lit cavern.

It was a surprise. A Lv8 Zubat (F), and Lv7 Makuhita (M) approached Lucas. They seemed enraged that someone was trespassing in the cave.

Lucas jumped at first when he saw two pokemon come out of no where. He sent Darmanitan and Spearow on the from line, to get them stronger and his was ready to bring more in the fray if needed.
"Spearow use Peck on Makuhita and Darmanitan use Rollout on Zubat." They did as instructed, Darmanitan shyly gathered stones and blasted them at the Zubat and Spearow zig-zagged in the air and got close and began to Peck Makuhita.

Makuhite still stood from the attack, although he seemed to be reeling. The same could be said for Zubat, who had been hit by the Rollout. Zubat use Supersonic on Spearow, and Makuhita proceeded to use Sand-Attack on Darmanitan.

Spearow flew up to avoid the Supersonic and returned to using Peck on Makuhita. Darmanitan could not doge the Sand-Attack due to it preparing another Rollout causing sand to obscure his vision, but he still uses Rollout.

Zubat attempted to use Supersonic once more on Darmanitan. Makuhita was hit by both Peck and Rollout and reeled back, hitting a cavern wall. It seemed incapacitated for the very moment.

Darmanitan was hit again this time with the supersonic due to it preparing another Rollout. Darmanitan then aimed the rollout at the Zubat and attacked. Spearow now free from its foe it locked in on Zubat and used a Quick Attack on it and began zooming toward it in the air.

Zubat was hit with both attacks and was sent back to where the Makuhita was, and they both fainted.

Darmanitan receives 8 EXP.
Spearow receives 7 EXP.

"Good job guys" Lucas cheered as he saw the foes faint. He ran to his pokemon and hugged them then took them and the fainted foes to the pokemon center. Once there he healed Darmanitan and Spearow of their wounds and also healed the wild Zubat and Makuhita. Lucas returned to the beach where he directed the wild pokemon to the cave and he searched for a trainer or pokemon to face.

A trainer stepped out from behind a rock. "Oh, hi. Are you a trainer? I'm looking for someone to battle." Tossing two minimized pokeballs up and down, he stated.

"yes." Lucas responded concisely. Darmanitan and Spearow stepped forward instinctively and prepared for battle.

The trainer hesitated and eyed the two pokemon. "Hold. Both my pokemon are stronger than what those pokemon look like. Are you sure you want to use those two?" He questioned warily. "Or if you want, it can be your two pokemon against one of mine. And you can continue like that for both my pokemon."

Darumaka shied back a bit and Mudkip peppily ran up to the field ready to fight. "I'm ready for anything." Lucas said as he waved his hand up. Spearow began to fly higher in the air to prepare for the stronger pokemon.

"Alright. Your funeral." Tossing the pokeball on the field, a Servine burst forward. "Be careful with this guy. He's rare." The Servine proudly tossed about it's foliage before taking a ready position.


Level 16

"Crap." Lucas said under his breath as he remembered that that was the worst type for his composition. He remembered that ice and flying were good against grass so he still had a chance. "Spearow fly around him and use Peck and Mudkip use Avalanche." Spearow loomed above Servine and spun around its head and swooped down with a Peck. While Spearow tried to take Servine's attention Mudkip used Avalanche on the target.

Servine flinched at the Peck but jumped away from the Avalanche, skidding to a halt before spiraling into a huge Leaf Tornado. Jumping out of it, the tornado torpedoed towards Mudkip.

Spearow flew higher up in the air again and used Growl on Servine to occupy it. Mudkip rolled away but got hit by some leaves leaving him with some scratches and he continued to use Avalanche on the foe. Spearow zigzagged down to Servine to use another Peck.

Servine used it's incredible speed to it's advantage and slid away. Dodging both attacks, it skittered closer before releasing two long vines to Vine Whip the Mudkip.

Mudkip Mudslapped the Vine Whips away and Spearow repeated with Growl and an attempt at a Peck. Mudkip followed up with another Avalanche.

Servine was hit by Peck but simply Leaf Tornadoed through the Avalanche, taking minimal damage in the process. It jumped out of the Leaf Tornado as it continued towards Mudkip and used Another Vine Whip, should Mudkip dodge the former attack.

Mudkip rolled aside from the Leaf Tornado, but was hit down by the Vine Whip. Spearow zoomed to Mudkip and he hopped on Spearow and they went airborne and Spearow flew circles above Servine and Mudkip used Avalanche from this vantage point.

(Hey, Mudkip is as big as, if not bigger than, Spearow.)

Servine jumped aside before using Tackle, jumping up to Tackle Spearow and perhaps throw it off balance.

the sheer attempt made Spearow lose balance and he was hit and crashed to the ground weak. Mudkip landed safely and he used Avalanche around Spearow to protect it from incoming attacks and then used Growl.

Servine cared nix for the Growls as it twirled and fired several vines at Mudkip.

Mudkip jumped over the Vine Whip and got out fairly unscathed. Spearow used Growl and tried to look like it was about to faint. to add to this facade Mudkip began to run toward Spearow, but he was preparing another Avalanche between Servine and Spearow hoping it will fall into their trap.
