Steel Vs Rock

Jacob Arget,walked into Rustboro,wanting his first badge,determined to find it,knowing rock was nothing compared to steel,but..he had no steel moves...Jacob sighed,and decided to find a pokemon to train beldum on,or even whismur,if needed.

A Bibarel splashed out of a nearby stream, shaking itself and looking at the trainer.


Level 18

Jacob smiled,deciding that picking his ace pokemon would be a good idea,since it was steel. "Go Beldum"says Jacob as a shiny beldum came out,silver body shining,as bronze claws came from its bottom. "Beldum,use Take down on the Bibarel!"says Doragon as Beldum used Take down,flying at Bibarel's head.

Bibarel just managed to save itself by bringing it's tail in front of it's head, twisting around expertly. It tried to slap away the Beldum with it's tail and unleashed a Water Gun at close range.

Beldum got hit with the water gun,but kept rushing,doing a simple turn and going for the bibarel's head,buzzing at it with full speed.

Bibarel jumped up, boosting itself with it's tail as it twirled and landed a fancy Water Gun at Beldum.

(No idea if that hit XD)

Jacob glared at the bibarel and then at beldum,as beldum got hit once more,then used take down on the bibarel's stomach. "Keep it up Beldum!"

Bibarel shifted slightly so it's stomach wasn't hurt, but it landed a square hit straigh on it's chest. It gasped lightly and tried another Water Gun.

The Water Gun hit Beldum as Jacob thought about the Bibarel. "Hmm,if it seems too fat to be hit hard by steel,lets try its more weaker spots. Beldum,fly behind Bibarel and use a take down on the back of its neck!" says Jacob as the Beldum flew behind Bibarel and used take down,aiming for the back of Bibarel's neck,in the spinal area.

Bibarel spun around so that it was hit in the stomach again. It gasped lightly and used Headbutt at close range, trying to get Beldum to flinch.

Beldum did flinch,but didn't take much damage from the Headbutt,but hovered there,flinching. "Damnit,this isn't good..." says Jacob as he watches the tired Beldum.

Bibarel gave a smirk, even though it's head was hurting. It released another Water Gun at the Beldum.

Beldum got striked,as it seemed even more tired,hovering. "Beldum,if you lose,I won't forgive you!"says Jacob,sure Beldum can win,as Beldum got a serious face,and hovering. "Now,we wait for Bibarel's next move!" says Jacob,waiting,in joy of his plan.

Bibarel cocked it's head, regarding the stationary Beldum carefully. It made up it' mind and used another Water Gun.

Beldum quickly avoided and used Take down on Jacob's command, as it flew directly for the Bibarel's jaw, as it was open,shooting water gun.

Bibarel was struck as it skidded back. Massaging it's jaw, it clicked it's teeth angrily and shot another Water Gun.

This one hit as beldum slowly got weaker, and much more wet. That second fact gave Jacob an idea on how to win this. "Beldum, get some distance!" says Jacob as Beldum flew a good way from Bibarel, and it saw what Jacob saw. "Now, Use Take down!" says Jacob as he points to the ground,and Beldum uses take down,but at an angle where he slides on the muddy ground, also being wet, for alot more speed, aiming for Bibarel in order to push his bottom side out from top, and make him fall.

Bibarel was caught unawares and tried to get away but the mud sucked around it's feet and didn't allow it to move. Atleast not much. It was struck head on and nearly fainted. It used Headbutt at close range, trying to get Beldum to flinch.

Beldum got hit and flinched, seeming very tired. "Damnit Beldum, endure this hit, I know you can" says Jacob, not being the happiest camper when it comes to having a pokemon that can only use one normal type move.

Bibarel was having it's own problem, the mud proving to be an obstacle. It got ready and squirted a last, big jet of water, aiming for the win with a Water Gun.

Beldum got struck and laid there, barely holding on. Jacob, overwhelmed by the care he keeps hidden for his beldum, raised his pokeball to return Beldum. Just before Jacob could fire the beam to return Beldum, Beldum got up, quite mad and determined for one final blow. Jacob sighed, smiling. "You aren't too strong to handle this, if you get hit after this take down, you won't last." says Jacob as he points to the stumbling Bibarel. "Lets make this count then, go, take down!" says Jacob loudly and determined, as beldum flies straight at the Bibarel, going full speed for its head.

(Are you trying to kill the Bibarel?! You're gonna leave it with some brain damage at the least. D:< )

Bibarel had no intention of getting killed. Although it was struck, it wasn't in the head. It was flung clear out of the mud and skidded, landing far off. It had fainted.

Beldum gained 18 exp!

Jacob returned Beldum and sighed. "Damnit,Beldum needs to evolve if I want to stand a chance against Roxanne." Jacob went to the pokemon center to heal up his pokemon. "Can you heal my pokemon, Nurse Joy?"says Jacob, waiting

Beldum grew to level 15 with 4 exp remaining!

"Of course!" She chirped cheerily as she took the pokeball and passed it back soon enough. "Thank you for waiting, we hope to see you again!" She bowed.

Jacob sighed and went out to the water, deciding to catch a real water pokemon, because **** Bibarel, they're weird looking, and not his style. "Hmm, what's out here..." says Jacob, looking into the lake.
